Accreditations and Memberships

The Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS), a member of the NAIS Commission on Accreditation, has voluntarily submitted to a rigorous and impartial review of its accreditation program and demonstrated its adherence to the Commission’s Criteria for Effective Independent School Accreditation Practices.

SAES is a member in good standing of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Commission on Accreditation. It has voluntarily agreed to abide by the Commission’s Criteria for Effective Independent School Accreditation Practices and to submit to a thorough review and evaluation of its accreditation standards, criteria, and procedures.

The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) mission is rooted in the core values of independence, interdependence, inclusivity, and innovation. The NAIS exists to represent and sustain schools that are self-determining in mission and program, free from government control, and governed by independent boards.

The mission of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) is to serve those who serve Episcopal schools. Consonant with their mission and philosophy, NAES advances Episcopal education, strengthens Episcopal schools, and fosters “excellence through association” by providing essential services, resources, conferences, and networking opportunities.
