Important Tidbits

Friday Folders: The last Friday folder will go home next Wednesday, so please be sure to return your child’s folder early next week. We will be sending home school supply lists, immunization reminders, TMS summer reading lists and the last school news. Thank you. –Amy Gaido, Asst. Head of School

Building Our Future – Paving the Way: Celebrate milestones such as graduations, honors, memorials and special events with an engraved paver located at the entrance of the MAC. Each paver is $500.00 for 9 lines of text and 22 characters per line. Proceeds will be used for funding of maintenance and operations of the MAC. Submit orders by July 1. Finance Office: All tuition accounts should be current before the close of school. Please note that grades, test scores, records, will not be released in cases where student accounts are delinquent and/or students have overdue or missing library books that have not been cleared.

Camp Invention: This fun science program is July 9-13 (9 AM-3:30 PM). The cost is $240. Before and after childcare is available. Camp Invention also offers an installment payment plan. Gear Up for Summer! Registration for Trinity Summer Camp@ Beginning School will open soon. Children who are currently in grades PK2-1st will be eligible for this program. Session I will run June 6 – June 29 and Session II will be July 2 – July 27. More information to come. Hope you will join in on the fun. –Rachel Brown, Summer Program Director

Camp Charger: Due to staffing shortages and decreased registration numbers, Camp Charger will not be held in its original form this summer. There will be a schedule of clinics and classes offered in July in lieu of the traditional Camp Charger day. – Anna Hyatt, Camp Director

VBS this Summer @ TEC
2018 Vacation Bible School! Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to Noon, June 4th-8th. Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus. VBS is open to children from age 4 through rising 5th grade. The $10 registration fee includes daily snacks, sciencey gizmos and games, water day, songs, stories, making new friends and learning the Word of God! Registration now in the Church Office! VBS VOLUNTEERS: It takes over 50 volunteers to put on our VBS, so junior and senior high students and adults are encouraged to help out. (Rising 6th graders and up) Get your service hours for next year done! Youth volunteers must also register, but not pay a fee.

I have over 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Of those 12 years, 7 years have been spent in the Special  Education, Inclusion and Social Development environment. I am a BOI, and after moving away and starting our family, having two wonderful boys Colby and Tucker (both now in college), my husband and I have returned to the island where my heart belongs. I love being with kids, listening to the seagulls, and being with my dog Rudder.

I am excited to be a part of the TES family. I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and have 10 years experience in early childhood education. I taught infants through Pre-K 3 at East End Preschool for 9 years, and Pre-K 4 & 4th grade at Holy Family for one year. My husband Carlos and I have two children, Isabella (6) and Charlie (10). We love spending time together at the beach, pool, or jet skiing. I enjoy going to the movies and reading.

I have been an IBC since may 2017. Upon moving to Galveston, I worked for Galveston's own KGBC radio as a co-host and then went on to host my own afternoon radio show. I studied radio, television, and film at Austin Community College and earned a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Theatre at Sul Ross State University. I enjoy hiking, camping, and jogging along the Seawall. I am happily married and have four exceptional children.

I’m a proud BOI and employee of Trinity Episcopal School. My husband Justin and I live here in Galveston with our dog Amos Romo. I love to ride my bike on the seawall and cycle long distances. I also enjoy going to museums and the movies with my husband. I’m passionate about early childhood and being an active member of our church.

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. My experience includes 4 years teaching kindergarten, 6 years as the Assistant Director of East End Preschool, and 2 years here at Trinity teaching PK4. My husband, Scott, and I have two boys, Luke (12 years) and Logan (11 years). My favorite hobbies include spending time with family, reading, and playing tennis.
