Trinity offers a wide array of after-school enrichment activities. Classes and workshops are open for registration at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters and vary in length. Most activities meet weekly and are held in subjects from Homework Club, Clay Cups to movie day and robotics. We offer participants dedicated workspaces and instruction by experienced educators across several domains.
Stay and Play
Stay and Play offers K-8 students a safe, nurturing environment after school each day. Our engaging instructional staff facilitates a range of structured and unstructured activities across campus. Structured activities run from 3:45-4:45 pm and include art projects, group games, Rosenberg Library visits, and more.
Stay and Play dismisses students from the Moody Athletic Center or, on library days, the 23rd Street entrance to Rosenberg Library. Please call the Stay and Play phone at 409-789-3722 to notify us of the following:
- You will arrive soon
- You are running late (past 5:30 pm)
- A family member or friend will pick up your child
When possible, please email Debbie Rushing the day before your child will be picked up by someone not listed on your Extended Day contract.
Homework Lab
Homework Lab offers students a quiet, focused environment to work on assignments from 3:15-4:15 pm, Monday through Thursday. Faculty and staff who supervise Homework Lab may offer some guidance, but students are expected to work quietly and independently. Students may drop in as needed and return to other activities upon completion of their work. Parents and teachers may also enroll students on a daily, weekly or continual basis using the form below. Homework Lab is included in the cost of aftercare.
