Faculty Parents Play Alumni
Faculty & friends played students last week (Jan 27, 2017) in the traditional annual match-up. Most alumni will remember the game being played across Ball Street in “the cage.” Of course, the game is now played in the climate-controlled Robert L. and Ann Moody Activity center! We love seeing graduates return to play in the game….even when we can barely recognize them. This year a good group of our graduates happened to be children of our faculty. In the image here, Jackson Gaido, Austin Schwab, Cade Harrington, and Kyle Wheeler are shown with their teammate parents!
Alumni Named Moody Scholars
7 members of the Trinity Episcopal School Class of 2011 were named 2015 Moody Scholars. Congratulations to Kylie Morgan, Hannah Kirby, Matteo Garofalo, Smythe Mullikin, Olivia Sjostrom, Heather Kirby and Gracie Bassett. Go Chargers!

Emma Panico Earns Research Scholarship
The UT Austin Department of English congratulates Emma Panico, an English major senior who has been awarded the College of Liberal Arts Rapoport-King Thesis Scholarships. The scholarships each provide $2,500 in research support for students who are writing a thesis in one of the Departmental Honors Programs. Fellows are chosen on the basis of several factors, including academic record and quality of the thesis proposal. Emma’s thesis title is “A Study of Empathy: The Case of Bedside Manner in Sherlock Holmes.” Emma graduated from Trinity Episcopal School in 2004.
Emma’s brother Stephen (TES C’ 2003) graduates from UT in December with a History/Plan II Honors Degree.
