Master Calendar: Please note that that there have been recent changes made to the master calendar, so review at your convenience to stay up-to-date. Thank you.

Priority Enrollment: Our admissions season for 2018-2019 is fast approaching! Re-enrollment kicks off on January 22 via an email announcing the contracts have been posted. Current TES students have priority until February 22. We have set an upward trend the past few years, so we are looking to surpass last year’s enrollment numbers which was our largest group to date. TES has been asked to provide entertainment for the families picking up their “Angel” presents tomorrow, Saturday, December 16 at the old Dillard’s store at Mall of the Mainland. We are to sing at 10:00-10:30. Possibly the ukulele group will play also. All children, parents, choir and former choir members are invited to join in the fun and sing carols. Holiday Break: Immediately following Lessons and Carols on Wednesday, Lower School students will be dismissed from their homerooms. Beginning and Middle School students will be dismissed as usual. There will be no Extended Day or Stay & Play. Classes for students will reconvene on Monday, January 8.

Trinity Church: Please join Trinity Episcopal Church on Christmas Eve, for the Family Service. The Live Nativity on the Garth will begin at 5:00 with the service starting at 5:30PM in the Church. Every child attending will have a part in the Service! Nursery is staffed, but all are welcome to join. Also enjoy Instrumental Music & Carols at 9:00PM, Candlelight Service with Holy Eucharist at 9:30PM Christmas Eve. Dress Code reminder: Parents, make sure your child has proper attire for school. As stated in the student handbook, students must wear solid white, navy, or hunter green “outer wear”(such as sweatshirts, sweaters, and jackets). The one exception is when the temperature falls below 40°, at which time the priority is to keep warm by wearing jeans with the warmest gear. Music Event Offer: The Galveston Symphony (GSO) is offering free tickets to TES students for their upcoming concert, Sunday, December 3, 4:00PM Grand 1894 Opera House, 2020 Postoffice Street. Reminder – TES Holiday Caroling Tour: Laura Hyatt, Music Director, and the TES Choir will kick-off their annual community caroling tour at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Hotel Galvez on Friday, November 24, 6:00PM.

Needs for St. Vincent’s House include peanut butter, Vienna sausages, canned salmon, individual cracker packs (peanut butter/cheese), canned fruit, and canned tuna. Items that are ready-to-eat foods that do not require heating. As items are brought in, they will be kept in homerooms until the Ingathering in Chapel on Thursday, November 16.

Congratulations to Hayley and Jason Hardcastle on the birth of their new daughter as well as to big sister, Hayden (K). Holdyn Kathleen Hardcastle was born on Monday weighing-in at 8 lbs. We look forward to her becoming a Trinity Charger!

Parade: The Beginning School will have their annual Halloween parade on Tuesday, October 31, at 11:15AM. The parade will proceed through Moody Hall, to MS around the Sport Court, then through the MAC and back to Beginning School.

The Feast of All Saints will be observed in school chapel on November 1. Names of loved ones who have died in the past year will be read in our prayers and Holy Communion will be offered. Please submit names to your oldest enrolled child’s homeroom teacher by Thursday, October 26th.
