Dear Families and Friends of Trinity,
Summertime is growing near. Many parents continue to work full-time jobs over the summer months and are looking for activities to provide enriching entertainment for their children. For children, unstructured time is important; however, it is also important to keep those skills of reading, science and math from getting rusty. When it comes to reading, the path to proficiency can be long and winding for some students, and this skill must continue to be practiced over the summer months. Problem-solving and science skills can be enhanced over the summer with fun activities designed to stimulate the mind in new ways that do not feel like schoolwork.
Trinity offers two summer camp programs that deliver tons of fun, educational enrichment activities to keep our children’s minds sharp while providing parents with peace of mind and quality childcare during the summer months.
Beginning School Summer Camp is available for ages 2 (by June 1st) through students entering 2nd grade. There are two sessions: June 5-28 & July 1-26. This camp offers wonderful child-centered activities and lots of fun field trips. See the attached flyer for more details. Sign up online: http://bit.ly/2019TES_Summer
Camp Invention is another long-standing tradition here at Trinity. Utilizing an exciting STEM-oriented curriculum, this camp encourages problem-solving, innovation, entrepreneurship, and persistence through the invention process. Your kids will learn the secret powers of collaboration, confidence, and creativity while they participate in hands-on activities. Camp Invention is available for children entering grades K-6th. Interested in signing up your older kids? 7th-9th graders are encouraged to join in on the fun as Leaders In Training. Camp dates: June 17-21. See attached flyer for more information.
