Important Tidbits

Music Event Offer: The Galveston Symphony (GSO) is offering free tickets to TES students for their upcoming concert, Sunday, December 3, 4:00PM Grand 1894 Opera House, 2020 Postoffice Street. Each student can invite up to 2 adults to accompany them. Families who are interested should send an email to Alice O’Quinn (aliceoquinn@gmail.com) to reserve tickets. The next symphony is today at 4:00PM, the. Tickets will be available for pick up one hour before curtain (3:00) in Edna’s Room. –Laura Hyatt, Music

Middle School: TMS Semester Exams are scheduled for Dec. 15, 18, and 19. Review packets will be distributed the week of Dec.4. Exam schedules will be in Friday Folders on Dec. 8.

TES Christmas Programs: Beginning School Musicale will be held in Trinity Church at 9:00AM, December 20. Lessons and Carols: Our traditional holiday service will also be held on Wednesday, December 20 at 10:30AM in the Trinity Church, classroom dismissal immediately following. There will be no Extended Day or Stay & Play. Dress: Reminder, dress uniform is to be worn. Late Arrivals: The program will begin promptly at 10:30AM. Parents arriving after that time should be seated quickly keeping the back of the church clear for the featured 1st Grade. There will be no flash photography during Lessons and Carols, but flash photography is welcomed at the dress rehearsal on Tuesday beginning at 8:45 AM.

PJ Day: Friday, December 15 will be our annual “pajama” day for PK2-5th Grade. Students who chose to wear pajamas should still wear socks with tennis shoes. Also students electing not to wear pajamas should be in their school uniform.

Holiday Community Service Project: This Christmas season, TES is partnering with Trinity Episcopal Church and St. Vincent’s House to adopt families in need. Each LS homeroom and MS Advisory group has received an angel. We are grateful that we have the opportunity to spread Christmas joy to our less fortunate neighbors. Thank you. –MS Student Council
