Important Tidbits

Drop-off time for school is 7:45-8:00 AM. Early drop-off begins at 7:30 AM until 7:45 AM for $2.00 at Moody Hall. For safety purposes, do not drop-off students prior to 7:30 AM. –Amy Gaido, Asst. Head of School

Reminder-Daylight Saving: Spring forward! Saturday, March 10, before you hit the sack set your clock forward an hour. Daylight saving time begins on Sunday, March 11.

Re-enrollment: All completed contracts that were submitted with payments as of 3/1/18 have been processed and those spaces are confirmed for 2018-2019 school year. There are a few contracts still pending because payment and/or Extended Day forms have not been received. Enrollment confirmation emails have been sent out. If your family did not receive an email but you believe your child’s re-enrollment is complete, please email the Admissions Office at admissions@tesgalv.org. Thank you. – TLW

Security Reminder: Be reminded that we are in the center of town and there are many pedestrians that are not Trinity constituents. Please remember to hide or take your purse with you when running in to pick up your children. –Mark Ravelli, Head of School

Safeguarding: This class is for parents who would like to volunteer or be frequent visitors during the school day. Parents must complete the Safeguarding God’s Children certification course. A session has been scheduled for Thursday, March 22, 4:45 PM, Kelso Library. If you are interested, email Kelli Acosta at kacosta@tesgalv.org to get registered.

Stations of the Cross: Our Annual Easter Celebration chapel service will be on Thursday, March 29. Our 6th Graders will display their artistic interpretations of the Stations while 8th Graders present the dramatic readings.

Easter Holidays: School will be closed on Friday, March 30, and Monday, April 2. These are holidays for Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively. School will resume on Tuesday, April 3.

Spring Testing Dates: The CogAT will be administered on April 4-6 to students in grades 1,3,5,7. The Iowa Assessment, for students K-8th grade, is scheduled for April 16-20. Mark your calendars. – Amy Gaido, Asst. Head of School

Summer @ TES

Camp Invention: This fun science program is July 9-13 (9 AM-3:30 PM). The cost is $240. Before and after childcare is available. Camp Invention also offers an installment payment plan. Gear Up for Summer! Registration for Trinity Summer Camp@ Beginning School will open soon. Children who are currently in grades PK2-1st will be eligible for this program.
