Trinity School Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church,10:30AM Eucharist. All school families are invited to attend and help us show thanksgiving for our sponsoring parish. K-8 students should be in their dress uniform. Children are welcome to the Service, but the nursery will be staffed 8:00AM-12:00PM for the youngest angels (3 and younger). Children age 4 -5th Grade are also invited to attend Godly Play (Children’s Sunday School). Cupcake reception will follow on the Garth.
Trinity Church will host a Blessing of the Pets service at 4:30PM on the Garth with a pet parade to follow. This service is open to students and pets of all ages.

Immediately after morning drop-off, 6th grade departs for Camp Allen to participate in the Discovery Program at Camp Allen near Navasota, Texas. The program includes leadership development, team building and environmental studies.

Friday, October 6
Blessing of the Pets: The Beginning School (PK2-PK4) will observe St. Francis of Assisi Day at 8:15AM with the Blessing of the Pets service on their playground. The event commemorates St. Francis’ special love of animals and will be officiated by The Rev. Ed Thompson. Each PK2-PK4 child is encouraged to bring a pet, a picture of a pet, or a stuffed animal to be blessed during chapel that morning. All live animals must be accompanied by an adult and must go home after chapel.

Mark your calendar: TES Family Night is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 5:00-6:00PM. A full schedule will be published soon. Please make plans to come get a glimpse of what your child does at TES and build community with us. The PTO Luau will follow at 6:00-7:30PM on the playground.
Approaching – No School: Monday, October 9, is a school holiday in observance of Columbus Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, October 10. –TLW
Call for Volunteers: We’re celebrating 65 years! The TES spring fundraising event is scheduled for April 2018 and we need your help to organize and plan an event worthy of this milestone. The first planning meeting is scheduled for two times, Thursday, October 12, 8:30AM and 12PM in Kelso Library. If you are unable to attend either meeting but would like to help, email me at twalker@tesgalv.org. Thank you in advance for helping make this a spectacular event!
