Blessing of the Pets

Jackson Trout's monkey and Franklin Traina's dog receive blessings.

Trinity PK4 students observed St. Francis of Assisi Day this morning with an outdoor chapel service on the Garth. This service commemorates St. Francis’ special love of animals and each child was encouraged to bring a pet, a picture of a pet, or a stuffed animal to be blessed by Rev. Hyde.

Dates for upcoming UTMB Flu Clinics are Saturdays 10/3 and 10/10 between 12-3 PM at the UTMB Primary Care Pavilion (400 Harborside Dr, Suite 110, Entrance C), every weekend at Texas City Family Health between 8 AM and 8 PM, and at the Galveston Urgent Care location on Broadway between 8 AM and 8 PM every weekend for adults, 8 AM- 8 PM everyday for children.

Call the access center at 409-772-2222, ask to schedule at the "flu shot clinic" and specify the clinic location. For ages 6 months and older, which makes this a great time to take the whole family to get vaccinated together without having to miss school.

 Meet Mrs. Arden Cragar

Many of you already know our current PK4 Teacher, Mrs. Cragar, as she has been at Trinity for many years and taught kindergarten, first grade, and served as Beginning School Director. She is over the moon to be back at school in-person! Mrs. Cragar is originally from Fort Worth and she graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Applied Learning and Development. She has two sons (George - recent graduate of UT & Charlie - current UT student) and a daughter (Maggie - current Ball High student) who all attended TES. Outside of school, Mrs. Cragar loves reading and spending time with friends and family. Thank you for all you do for Trinity, Mrs. Cragar!

Mrs. Cragar's students practice their skills in fine motor journals, which are a big hit!
