PINK OUT DAY

In a celebration of the life of our beloved teacher, colleague, and friend, Michelle Jewell Funston (1973 – 2017), students are invited to wear a pink top or an appropriate breast cancer awareness shirt with jeans or uniform bottoms on Wednesday, the 28th. Students not participating should be dressed in regular uniform. We love you and we miss you, Mrs. Funston. – Team Funston

 

ALPHA OMEGA SOCIETY

The Alpha Omega Society members for 2020 were presented during Chapel today. This honor recognizes Trinity 8th Graders who have attended Trinity since Kindergarten. The honored students pictured are (top row) Charlie Vasut, Sully Mixon, Sawyer Farroni, (middle row) Matthew Leyva, Zeke Zein-Eldin, (bottom row) Sophia DeOre, and Lily Rojas. We are proud of all our students, but it is fitting that we take a moment to thank our “long-timers” and their families. - Mr. Ravelli

 

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR!

The book fair will be held Sunday, November 8th - Friday, November 13th in Eaton Hall. Scholastic's theme this year is "Book Fair Time Machine - Reading Can Take You Anywhere." THANKSGIVING INGATHERING 

Our annual canned food drive to benefit St. Vincent’s House will run through the morning of November 12. National Junior Honor Society will stock the shelves of St. Vincent’s House of Hope on November 12 with all canned goods received! Please see the attached flyer for a list of preferred donation items.

FACULTY SPOTLIGHT

 

 Meet Mrs. Florence Noyes

Many of you know our beloved art teacher, Mrs. Florence Noyes, who is celebrating 21 years at Trinity Episcopal School. Originally from Mexico City, she has spent 30 years as an islander after moving to Galveston from New York City. Mrs. Noyes has one daughter (a teacher at Ball High) who started in the original two-year-old class at Trinity and graduated in 2008. Mrs. Noyes is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a BBA degree. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, gardening, and traveling. Thank you for all that you do for Trinity and the creativity you bring to our campus, Mrs. Noyes!
