Congratulations to the Lady Chargers Volleyball Team! On Saturday, the Lady Chargers defeated Alvin Living Stones during District Semi-Finals, to advance to the Finals. The Chargers won in straight sets versus Angleton Christian to win the Gulf Coast Athletic League District Championship. The Lady Chargers are the reigning Champs – winning this title for the last five years in a row! Way to go Chargers!

We will observe All Saints’ Day next week, remembering those special people in our lives who have died in the past year and gone before us to the nearer presence of God. We ask that you submit the names of people your family has lost within the past year by CLICKING HERE. At the time of our prayers, the names of the deceased will be read.

Our annual canned food drive to benefit St. Vincent’s House will run through the morning of November 12. National Junior Honor Society will stock the shelves of St. Vincent’s House of Hope on November 12 with all canned goods received! Please see the attached flyer for a list of preferred donation items.

Trinity Episcopal School has launched our 2020-2021 Annual Fund Campaign, "Meeting The Challenge!" Our goal for Annual Fund is 100% participation by Charger families and we encourage you to give at a level that is meaningful to you. If we all do our part, we can continue to provide upgraded technology to our students, the best professional development to our faculty, and keep our campus safe. Click HERE to give online today!

 Meet Mrs. Lisa Higgins

This is Mrs. Higgins's tenth year teaching and fourth year at Trinity. She was born in Galveston and finally returned 13 years ago. Mrs. Higgins graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. After spending many years in retail management, upon returning to the island, Mrs. Higgins decided to pursue a career in teaching. Along with teaching middle school history, Mrs. Higgins has absolutely loved every second of coaching volleyball (she has had four undefeated seasons and four district champions to prove it!) Mrs. Higgins loves to run, paddle board, read, bake, and spend time with her family. One of the reasons she chose history was because when she was young, she loved it, but it was always boring the way her teachers taught it. She always promised herself that if she became a teacher, she would teach history in a way that kids would actually love it and appreciate it. Mrs. Higgins spends hours each year finding new and exciting ways to teach her students to keep them engaged in the classroom and excited about history. Mrs. Higgins feels very lucky to have a job where it doesn’t feel like she is actually working and she is so thankful to be a part of the TES family!
