TES FALL CARNIVAL

TES Fall Carnival will be NEXT Friday 11/22 from 12-3 pm on the Garth/22nd street.  This is an early release day (NOON) with regular carpool pick up; there is no extended day.

The deadline to place orders for student and parent Chik-fil-A lunches is Monday the 18th.  There will be a select variety of additional concessions for sale at the event, but lunches must be purchased in advance.  All proceeds benefit 8th Grade Fundraising!

Entrance to the Fall Carnival will be via wrist band ($20/each) - the wrist band will allow access to all booths and inflatables (no tickets needed). You must purchase an additional wrist band for $5 for access to the game truck and rock wall. We will have inflatables reserved for beginning school kids, so all kids will have spaces to enjoy! Parents do not need a wrist band to enter.

Order forms for wrist bands and food have been sent home and are attached. All forms are due back to school by Monday, the 18thth. All wrist bands must be purchased in advance and will NOT be sold at the carnival. For convenience, we have included a direct billing option for wrist band purchases.

We look forward to another great Fall Carnival. Thank you to all of our sponsors, if you would like to sponsor please click here.

Please contact Randy Garcia at jrgar1@sbcglobal.net or Lindsay Sonstein at lindsaysonstein@gmail.com with any questions!

THANKSGIVING INGATHERING

Our annual canned food drive to benefit St. Vincent’s House will run through the morning of November 21.  Student Council will stock the shelves of St. Vincent’s House of Hope on November 21 with all canned goods received!  Parents are welcome to join chapel on the morning of November 21 to see the ingathering and help bless our donation.  Please see the attached flyer for a list of preferred donation items.

 ARCTIC ADVENTURE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

Thank you to everyone who supported our recent Scholastic Arctic Adventure Book Fair. Our Book Fair success was made possible with the help of many, many volunteers! A HUGE thank you to everyone who gave your time to the Scholastic Book Fair. You are greatly appreciated! We are especially thankful to the Hospitality Health ER and Moody Bank.

We far surpassed our goal and grossed well over $16,000! Book Fair proceeds will benefit our school and classroom libraries. Your contributions placed books in the hands of children and showed them reading is “snow” cool!

THANK YOU! - Lynsey Ginsberg, Book Fair Volunteer

BOX TOPS NEEDED!

The Box Top competition for Fall is almost over! Friday, November 22nd, will be the last day to submit (digital & clipped) Box Tops for the Fall competition. And don’t forget when scanning to give your class credit!

Do you need extras? If your family keeps in touch with TES alum send them the attached flyer about Box Tops. Now that Box Tops are going digital they can still support the school from afar.  Go Chargers!  - Kristin O’Rourke, Box Top Coordinator

TEXAS LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM

Under the direction of Mrs. Newton, twelve 5th Graders reprised their roles from their 4th Grade Texas History project at the Bryan Museum's Annual Gala last Friday evening, to the delight of the gala guests. We are so proud of each of these students!

 ANNUAL FUND

100% parent participation in this year's Annual Fund is our goal! Thank you to everyone who has already contributed!  Tuition income does not cover our school’s actual cost of educating our students.  The Annual Fund is critical in bridging the gap between tuition income and actual operating costs.  If you'd like to donate online, you can access our giving page HERE.
