PTO CAMPUS WORK DAY IS TOMORROW!

If you're volunteering with PTO Campus Work Day, please meet at the Lower School carport at 9 am tomorrow morning! Most of the projects involved will be painting, so please wear your paint clothes and bring sunscreen and a hat. Breakfast will be served for all volunteers and children are encouraged to attend too. Event will wrap up at 12 pm. Middle School students who participate will receive service hours!

Don't forget to check out the emply classroom directly next door from the Front Office in Lower School! There are many unclaimed Lost & Found items that need a good home! Anything left after tomorrow at 12 pm will be donated to our TES Used Uniform Closet or charity.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL VIRTUE EXEMPLARS

We applaud the Middle School students pictured above for winning this month's Virtue Awards! These students exemplified the virtue of perseverance and received their awards from Mr. Phelps in this week's chapel service. Go Chargers!

THIRD GRADE EXPERIMENTS WITH LAVA

Mrs. Rushing's and Mrs. Wisner's third grade classes recently took part in a fun and exciting science experiement! In this lesson, students investigated how differences in lava types explain differences in the shape and eruption patterns among volcanoes. In the activity, Bubble Trouble, students compared two different types of "lava" -- thin and thick. They used this information to figure out why volcanoes have different shapes and how the type of lava explains why some volcanoes explode.

NEED EXTENDED DAY OPTION FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 14?

Recognizing that this is a change to the published calendar and many of our working parents are unable to take advantage of an early release for the long Easter weekend, Extended Day Care will be available by reservation only, including those who are regular participants so we can have an accurate count and appropriate coverage. Contact Leah Tovar (ltovar@tesgalv.org) by Monday, April 11 if you will need Extended Day for your child. Please include your child’s name and intended pick up time.

DON'T MISS OUT ON TES SUMMER CAMP
