TRINITY TEACHERS ARE THE BEST!
GALVESTON’S TOP 50 AWARD RECIPIENTS FROM TRINITY
In 1977, the Galveston Academic Excellence Booster Club created the Top 50 Awards in order to recognize outstanding students in local schools, both public and private. On Tuesday, May 14th, the club will honor these exceptional young students who have achieved excellence in academics. Representing Trinity Episcopal School is 5th grader, Claire Garcia, who nominated Kelly Shaffner as her most influential teacher; and 8th grader, Austin Gabriel, who nominated Donna Cucco as his most influential teacher.
If you have not yet submitted your child’s enrollment contract for next year and are still interested in a spot for the 2019-2020 school year, please contact the Admission Office as soon as possible. Thank you – Chloe Knauer
5th GRADE WALK-A-THON
Fellowship, friendship, fitness, fun, faith, and family – fifth grade touches the sky with their Sky’s the Limit Walk-A-Thon!!
Our Box Top collection for the Spring competition has been counted! CONGRATULATIONS to these winners:
Beginning School – Scoggin – 84
Lower School – Wisner – 543
Middle School – Wheeler 199 AND Charpentier – 201
Their class will soon be enjoying a picnic on the beautiful Garth. It was a close race though, so great job to everyone! The entire third grade deserves a shout out. They raised almost as much as the entire lower school put together. 911 vs 1,164.
Keep up the good work all SUMMER long! Your contributions help the school greatly.

It’s almost summer time and lots of people will be heading to the beach! Sharks are common in Galveston’s coastal waters, but shark attacks are rare. Can you guess how many unprovoked shark attacks have been documented off the Galveston coast from 1911-2014?
LAST WEEK: Eaton Chapel was designed by Nicholas J. Clayton in 1882.
