GREEN & GOLD GAMES!

 

The overall objective for TES Green and Gold Games is community building and fun, and the 2021 GGG has been hugely successful so far! THANK YOU to our volunteers and staff who worked so diligently to make it happen! - Chloe Knauer

 

CONGRATULATIONS TO A CHARGER PUBLISHED WRITER

We wish to commend second-grader, Emerson Barefield, for being selected as an iWRITE award winner and published writer! The iWRITE Non-Profit Organization offers students in the 3rd-12th grades the opportunity to submit plays, short stories, songs, poetry, and artwork to their annual publishing contest called, I Write Short Stories by Kids for Kids. 100 students each year are selected for publication and honored at the iWRITE Annual Fall Event. Since 2009, iWRITE has published more than 730 student authors and illustrators in its anthology from 11 different countries. For more information, visit HERE.

 

USED UNIFORM ROOM RETURNING!

Trinity will begin to collect gently-used uniform donations again to be used for resale in our Used Uniform Shop. Please make sure that all donated pieces are exclusively products of Mills Uniform Company. Next school year, all uniform pieces must be purchased exclusively from Mills.

 

MILLS UNIFORM COMPANY FIT EVENT COMING UP

We invite you to join us in the MAC on Monday, June 14 (12-5 pm) to get fitted by a professional and order your uniforms for the upcoming school year. Children will only be able to try on uniforms to find the correct size and will place orders on mobile devices. All Covid-19 safety protocols will be in place.

KELEMEN'S SUMMER STUDY STUDIO

Book your sessions with our awesome in-house tutor, Mrs. Kelemen, today! There are limited spots available. Update: sessions will now begin starting on June 14th. Mrs. Kelemen offers personalized, private tutoring sessions for TES students and she specializes in reading comprehension, math skills, and study skills.

This being our final Week At A Glance for the year, we want to take the opportunity to thank all of our faculty & staff, students, and parents for making it through the most challenging school year in recent memory. To start school on August 19th and continue every single day was no small feat and it took every single member of this community to make it happen. Let's savor the remainder of the school year and remain grateful for a wonderful school year; now enjoy your summer!!

FACULTY SPOTLIGHT

Mrs. Schwab with her family

Meet Mrs. Kelly Schwab

We are proud to end our final Faculty Spotlight series for the year with our Michelle Jewel Funston Learning Lab Director and Lower School Coordinator, Mrs. Kelly Schwab! She is a veteran teacher who has been in the classroom for 24 years, finishing up her 14th year at Trinity. She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, specializing in Reading. She also attended Dyslexia Training at Neuhaus Education Center. Mrs. Schwab has been married to her husband Taylor (a Trinity Alum) for 29 years and both of her children (Ashley & Austin) are TES Alumni and UT Longhorn graduates. In her free time, she enjoys being with family & friends, traveling, reading, and puzzles. Thank you for being such an integral part of our Charger community, Mrs. Schwab!
