FACULTY & STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Meet Mr. Clark Duhon

Mr. Duhon is one of our resident music lesson teachers and he also teaches our yearbook class. He is the owner of Cloister Hall Studios, which specializes in stringed instrument lessons (guitar, violin, cello, mandolin, bass, banjo, piano) and keyboard, percussion, and drums. He has performed with local groups and worked as a traveling musician. His grandfather Octa Clark was a renowned Acadian musician and said, "you can't go wrong, if you play it right." Mr. Duhon was born on Galveston Island and grew up nearby on the Texas Gulf Coast with his parents and sister. He moved to the East End of the island in the late 1990's and lives there still. He interned at Shriner's Hospital while completing a Master's in Clinical Psychology. He has been teaching and tutoring since college and served as an Adjunct Instructor for College of the Mainland for nine years. Mr. Duhon lives on the East End with Mary, a local artist & aerial instructor, along with their pets. In his spare time, he enjoys playing music, traveling, gardening, cooking, and reading. Thank you, Mr. Duhon, for helping Trinity establish a thriving fine arts program!
