CONSTITUTION WEEK The George Washington Chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution kicked off Constitution Week yesterday. This week commemorates the 233rd signing of the Constitution and celebrates the foundation of America, and keeps alive the memory of the brave men and women who secured our nation's independence and made possible the liberties we enjoy today! Thank you to Trinity parishioner and TES volunteer, Cheryl Tucker - DAR Registrar & Constitution Week Chair, for always bringing more patriotism to our school. SAFEGUARDING GOD'S CHILDREN TRAINING The next Safeguarding God's Children training class will take place online on Saturday, October 3rd. If you plan to volunteer with Trinity Episcopal School, you must be certified. Certification is valid for 5 years. Please email Rachel Brown (rbrown@tesgalv.org) by Wednesday, September 23rd to begin your certification process or request more information. TES CUSTOM ENGRAVED PAVERS
Celebrate milestones such as graduations, honors, memorials and special events with an engraved paver. Proceeds from your purchase will be used to fund the maintenance and operations of the Robert L. and Ann Moody Activity Center. Order Form Attached. ABSENCE POLICY If a child is absent or late, parents must notify the school. The absence policy for grades K-8 is based on two types of absences, excused and unexcused; however, all absences and tardies are considered unexcused until a doctor’s note is turned in. It is recommended that parents review the entire Absence and Tardy Policy in the student handbook. SAVE THE DATE Trinity School Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church will be observed on Sunday, October 4, at the 10:30 AM in-person service. At this time, masks are required and the Diocese of Texas is currently requiring reservations; if you would like to help us show thanksgiving for our sponsoring parish, you’ll be asked to RSVP via a link that will be sent to school families sometime next week. Godly Play has not yet resumed, but children are welcome to the Service. Families are also invited to watch the live Service on the church’s Facebook page. CLOISTER HALL STUDIO Cloister Hall Studio offers face to face and online theory-based music lessons for a variety of string instruments, percussion and piano. Lessons can be held on TES campus during PE, recess, or after the school day. For more information contact Clark Duhon at cloisterhallstudio@gmail.com or 409-750-1627. |
